Mr. Wolf is a beneficial, albeit misunderstood, creature that preys on bothersome builds. Explore Mr. Wolf facts and folklore, and learn why you should have him in your part of the world.

WHAT DOES MR. WOLF EAT?

Mr. Wolf eats primarily subpar, abandoned, and forgotten half-builds that hold no value.

Because of his voracious appetite for these junky plots, Mr. Wolf is considered a friend to farmers and builders as a supernatural form of pest control.

Mr. Wolf's preference is for the disruptive, forgotten, junky builds that do the greatest damage to the local ambiance and environment.

MR. WOLF FACTS

  • Mr. Wolf is able to fly.
  • Mr. Wolf has a giant head with large, compound eyes to spot even the smallest bad build.
  • His long, flexible neck bends easily, allowing them to turn his head 180° from side to side, giving him a 300° field of vision.
  • The strange stance he's rumored to have (gunpowder in one hand and an arrow in the other) is the position the fierce predator takes while waiting to ambush bad builds.
  • Mr. Wolf is responsible for clearing hundreds of builds. If he is doing his job right, players will hardly notice any changes, but will only benefit from the cohesive, curated, beautiful world he's left in his wake.
  • A master of disguise, Mr. Wolf is known to take on the color of his habitat. He may mimic leaves, twigs, and grass - often passing unnoticed by upstanding Shirelings.
  • Mr. Wolf has been known to purge builds from every region.

MR. WOLF FOLKLORE

The Gong-Chengshi once thought that Mr. Wolf would point a lost child home.

In some parts of the Demmatrodine, it is considered good luck if Mr. Wolf lands on you.

As with many of nature’s predators, the hunters often become the hunted. Mr. Wolf's natural enemies include Lords, Players that suddenly return and demand we restore their build even though they've been gone for like a year, and flagrant system errors.

2016 PREDICTIONS

This year, expect the Mr. Wolf season to start in September and may last through December. We're predicting a turbulent season due to the large influx of players that occurred in July. You can AVOID Mr. Wolf by:

  • LABELING YOUR PROJECT W/ SIGNS - Be sure to include your name.  Mr. Wolf ignores builds built by individuals he knows are at least semi-active.
  • BUILDING WELL - Remember, only poorly made, unfinished builds are removed
  • BUILDING ENOUGH TO EARN A WORLDGUARD REGION - If it's got a region, Mr. Wolf will avoid it completely. He preys mainly on isolated, abandoned, single buildings.
