Unable to join server

When I tried to join the Shirecraft server, it said that the server was outdated!  I am on version 1.10.2 and is there any way I can go back to 1.9.4?

  Yes; when you first launch Minecraft, click on "Edit Profile". There should be a dropdown menu where you can change which version you're using. See you soon!
