happy to! make sure you're on 1.7.10 - apparently when you signed on last, the server lagged to death. We've had it happen with a few other people.

Well, I just got a VM set up today. I have Windows Server 8 on it. And thats about as far as I've gotten. But we'll have basically a free server with 8gb RAM (more if I want, im sure), and whatever space I want. I haven't had time to set it up yet

Heck, if its a separate world... it could be open to Gaijin too, especially since its grief-free because of the plots. That would lessen application frustration.

yes - vague at best. server simply has trouble keeping up - slips to about 40k ticks behind, boots everyone, but server never crashes entirely.

Every time you signed on, we all lagged out. I'm trying to figure out whats causing it now to see if theres some fix. Do you have any plugins? add-ons? anything different about your version of MC?
