Nebbers Resurfaces
SHIRE GLOBAL NEWS:
The whereabouts of Lord Nebbers this past week just became a bit more curious, as if they hadn’t already stirred quite a bit of chatter in his home town and beyond.
Earlier this morning, Gina Bo'Bina, a reporter for The State newspaper in Homestar Bay, acted on a tip and confronted the Shire leader at the Bree airship port as he deplaned from, uh, not the Sammichian Trail as his staff had finally disclosed on Monday night, but Fulfwotz.
In a short interview, he told Ms. Bo'Bina that he didn’t know why his staff said he was hiking, although he conceded that he had considered that activity as a way to take a break after a bruising legislative session ended in April.
“But I said ‘no’ I wanted to do something exotic,” Lord Nebbers told Ms. Bo'Bina. “… It’s a great city.”
The Lord said he had been traveling alone. Ms. Bo'Bina said she asked him if he had been staying at a hotel, but he wouldn’t answer her question.
Neb's mysterious disappearance had captured national attention in part because the Lord is frequently talked about among social elites as a potential candidate for God-Emperor. But it also unfolded in a bizarre way, with rival politicians in Oranjestad contending that the Lord's staff had lied to them.
In the Bree airship port interview today, Nebbers suggested that he was confounded by how his absence was “blown out of proportion.” Ms. Bo'Bina noted that Nebbers seemed to trying to hide his right arm from view. The local Bree pervert says he spied on Nebbers in the bathroom and saw that Neb's right arm was completely sleeved in dozens of identical red white and blue "MAGA" tattoos. Lord Nebbers declined to comment.
He planned to return to Oranjestad later that day. Whether reverberations from his trip are long-lasting or just a blip on the summer radar screen remains to be seen.

Billy Thompson, Homestar Port - "MAKE THE SHIRE GREAT AGAIN! Build the wall!"
Jessica Williams, Mainland - "I feel so blessed today. The first meal I had today was a McDonald's Ten Piece. Then I witnessed Nebbers stumping Ms. Bo'Bina. She is a sleaze."
Charles Rangah, Equos - "This article is little more than weaponized autism."
Amanda Clutterberg, Shai-Ling - "Bo'Bina once said "Obesity runs in my family" No, nobody runs in your family".
Jerry Bittersworth, Oranjestad - "How the eff is this possible?
I had to change universities because I couldn't afford the first school I went to, my parents and I had to take out loans, and I was still left with $30k in debt with like 9% interest (parents had $17k) and I'm an effing Oranjestadian!
I went to a PRIVATE high school and had some of the highest state test scores in Oranje County. I got a 98 on the physics regents in my junior year without an effing calculator. I didn't get any free passes. Grades have nothing to do with it because I scored near perfect on my SATs and I only got offered ONE scholarship. (Esthar gave me $9k a year)
What the eff is going on? I'm getting close to refusing to pay taxes anymore. I don't want my money going to this stuff. I want these hundreds of thousands of dollars being spent putting these people in busses and getting them the eff out of this damn country.
Being an Oranjestadian and getting all the benefits that come with that isn't a right, it's a privilege. You can't just come in and get stuff for free.
Think about it,
"I'm an undocumented driver. I use all the roads and have no license." YOU'RE AN ILLEGAL UNLICENSED DRIVER. YOU GET PUT IN JAIL.
"I'm an undocumented concealed weapon carrier. I carry a concealed firearm with no license." YOU'RE ILLEGALLY IN POSSESSION OF A FIREARM. GO TO JAIL.
"I'm an undocumented immigrant. I steal the Oranjestad tax payers money to use for my benefit and give nothing back. I broke Oranjestad immigration law and continue to do so every moment I stand on Oranje County soil." OH GREAT JOB HERE'S MORE TAXPAYER MONEY AND A FREE COLLEGE EDUCATION! YOU'RE A HERO.
How asinine is this? I might as well just pull the plates off my car, carry my gun everywhere I want, and never renew my license again. At least in doing those things I'm not costing the taxpayers BILLIONS."
