Hey!

My name is Joshua and I'm 29yo.  Originally I'm from Canada but I've been living in Seattle for the last few years.  

I've been playing Minecraft since Alpha on and off and have ran numerous servers for friends and co-workers.  With such a limited user base they always just fell into disuse after a few months.  I've been wanting to play with a larger community but been worried about griefers but it looks like The Shire has a handle on that which is great.  

In Minecraft I like connecting buildings and regions to make it feel like a more connected world.  Rail, roads, boating routes, tunnels are what I usually focus on.  

Outside of Minecraft I'm very into fitness and outdoors.  I rock climb, camp, hike, swim, weightlifting, tennis, biking (road, mountain, freeriding) and anything that is active.

I also work for a well known video game developer so as you can guess I'm a pretty avid gamer.
