Hello!
My name's Adam, I'm 25 and I come from Plymouth, UK. I heard about the shire online and was originally intruiged when I saw some of the fantastic builds/projects inside the server.
It's been a while since I was really 'hooked' with Minecraft. I started playing about 3 years ago on one server (no names of course!) and stuck there, really. I became an OP pretty quickly and that was that. I was an avid builder and would spend a lot of time trying to think of the most creative builds I could, whilst being fascinated by others builds that were better than my own. I was never the best, and hopefully never the worst, but always tried to improve little by little on each build.
Anyway, enough of the history.
Day by day I'm a web developer/graphics designer for a small company in my home city. I'm happily married with a 16 month old son (attached below!) and another baby on the way! My hobbies are, to be honest, already listed previously. I enjoy time with my family, I'm an avid gamer (PC/PS4) and enjoy putting the rest of my time into my creative abilities. I think, if accepted, I would spend my time generally conversing and going back to improving my building ability (although I may be a little rusty at first, it's been a while!)
And that's my story, I'm hoping to see a little more of you all soon

Around a year after I became OP on said server, it unfortunately shut down as the owners didn't want to run it anymore. I spent a little bit of time afterwards looking for other places to play but never really found the same sense of community as I had before. That's when I realised it wasn't just building or being staff that had kept me so interested in Minecraft, it was being a part of a close knit community who were always there to help eachother out - when I couldn't find it anymore I kind of lost touch with the game and moved on for a while.
