Minecraft username: the5thpixel

My name is pixel (real names are for nerds), I am 27 years old and I'm a web developer / gun lover from Texas. 

It has been a long time since I even opened minecraft; years I'd say. I was an admin back during the beta for Bitlegend, the unofficial server of /g/ -- home to some of the early great builders such as maidi, known for building massive and complex structures using only gathered materials. Of course being from /g/, some of our earliest admins wrote or contributed to many of the mods that still live on today. One of my more marked accomplishments, though not as grand as much of what I see here on the Shire, is the cruise ship you see at 1:40 in this video. I attempted to build an IKEA store once but I ended up missing a few pieces.

Seeing the Shire post on reddit, as many others did, inspired me to download the game again and give it another go. I don't even know half of what the newer blocks do and I feel like an old man who calls every game system a 'nintendo'... but here I am.

You can now build in /warp tyrule where you'll find everything you need to show us your style and skill level and hopefully join us in the main world.

A few tyrule tips:

- All your materials will be under the Tyrule spawn. Just right click the "free" signs

- All tools and enchantments can be found in one of the spawn corners. Signs will lead you there. Just right click the signs for the tools and then with the tool equipped, right click the enchantment signs

- You can be assigned a plot by doing /plotme auto and then /plot home to get to it

- Your tyrule build does not have to be huge or elaborate. Just something that gives us an idea of your style and skill level
