Howdy, I'm Alex, my minecraft username is fairly simple isn't it? I haven't played Minecraft for a while to be honest, but this was mainly due to the server I used to play on going down. Shirecraft could be a new start for me, a chance to get sucked into an online community and have fun within Minecraft again.

I found out about Shirecraft through a UniLad post on facebook, and was fascinated by how massive the server his and how well the community has worked together to make something so cool. I'm 18 and I'm from the UK and I've had minecraft for probably 5 years now, jeez that's a long time. I've built all sorts in that time, including nice bridges, a huge pantheon (I may do something similar on Shirecraft), and Christ the redeemer.

In terms of real life, I play football quite regularly but my seasons finished now, and I'll be looking to take it up again when I go to Uni in Lincoln in September. I love going on holiday and I'm going away occasionally throughout summer, so expect me to have some culturally inspired builds come up.

You can now build in /warp tyrule where you'll find everything you need to show us your style and skill level and hopefully join us in the main world.

A few tyrule tips:

- All your materials will be under the Tyrule spawn. Just right click the "free" signs

- All tools and enchantments can be found in one of the spawn corners. Signs will lead you there. Just right click the signs for the tools and then with the tool equipped, right click the enchantment signs

- You can be assigned a plot by doing /plotme auto and then /plot home to get to it

- Your tyrule build does not have to be huge or elaborate. Just something that gives us an idea of your style and skill level
