Hi,

I am 69 years old, live in the United States and have worked with computers (and computer games) since 1964. I learned about this server from a news article at http://www.mobipicker.com/players-create-flawless-minecraft-map-five-years/   One of my grandsons loves minecraft and building and I enjoy interacting with him.  I would like him to join this server so we can share in the experience.

I will probably not build very much but I would enjoy working on the wiki or helping with any English writing.  Having watched many attempts at building communities on the internet, I think minecraft is the best method yet, and from what I have seen of The SHire it is clearly a safe and fun place for all kinds of people to work together.
