Hi, I'm yar_the_pirate. Optionally you may call me Sam. It's easier. I'm 19 and I'm from the United States. (Don't discount me for that, I really hate some people in the United States, but I do love more than I hate.) I have a lot of experiance building. Everyone starts with their very own dirt shack, or if you're under my guidance a castle. My brother kept ripping on Minecraft, and then I finally got him to try the console edition, and I had him skip right over all of those stages and showed him how to build a castle more than just a square. I've been a member of the Minecraft community for almost 7 years now. Building is my favorite thing to do in Minecraft, so much so that when I play modded and want to focus on mods I will actually just cheat in materials so things can look good. In vanilla, though, I devote most of my time to building. A server dedicated just to building kingdoms without the prospect of war and destruction in the future really intrigued me. I love the idea of just building awesome stuff with each other and being in kingdoms just like real life -- "whoa there real life? I don't know if I can handle that!" -- some might say, but not me because I enjoy politics, just not in the current state of the actual world, but creating our very own virtual politics is amazing. If advertised correctly, it could be a learning experiance for children. (You'd be surprised how much educational purposes Minecraft already has.) Sorry that's the ADHD in me, staying on one topic, but going on a very long tangent. Anyway, I looked around the server and it looks amazing. I'd love to be a part of it. I found out about it from a youtuber talking about how amazing it was as a tangent of one his videos, and I imediately had to check it out. I'd be quite grateful if you'd allow me to be a part of the server! (By the way, I wasn't able to speak in chat on the server and everybody just kept going, "Arr, matey," and I couldn't say anything witty in response to that, so I don't know if becoming a member will change that or what, but it's just so you know.)
