AT the request of some Shirefolk, I have decided to share some of the simple, healthy, and DELICIOUS dishes I make every day. Some are good to snack on, while others can be an entire meal on its own. Enjoy!

Summer Salad
What you need:
  • Salad mix
  • Cucumber
  • Red onion
  • Dill weed
  • Olive oil
  • White wine vinegar
  • Seasoned salt
  • Black olives
  • Feta cheese crumbles
  • Cherry tomatoes
Instructions
  1. Combine salad mix, sliced cucumber, chopped red onion, black olives, feta cheese, and tomatoes in a large bowl.
  2. Pour moderate amount of olive oil into salad, and mix until the olive oil is distributed evenly.
  3. Pour a small amount of white wine vinegar into the salad (be careful; too much is very overpowering!) and mix.
  4. Sprinkle seasoned salt and dill weed into salad and mix.
  5. EAT IT
Cucumber Salad
What you need:
  • 2 cucumbers
  • Red onion
  • Dill weed
  • Table salt
  • Olive oil
Instructions
  1. Slice cucumbers and chop (not dice) the red onion; mix in a bowl.
  2. Pour olive oil into the mixture.
  3. Sprinkle a sufficient amount of dill weed and table salt into the salad.
  4. EAT IT NOW
Kale
What you need:
  • 5-6 "leaves" of kale
  • Seasoned salt
  • Olive oil
Instructions
  1. Cut and separate raw kale into bite-sized pieces, discarding the central stalk.
  2. Put kale into bowl and pour in olive oil; mix.
  3. Sprinkle in seasoned salt and mix again.
  4. CONSUME
Breakfast Tortilla
What you need:
  • 2 eggs
  • Arugula leaves
  • Seasoned salt
  • Grated cheese
  • Tortilla
Instructions
  1. Spray non-stick grease/oil onto pan and break both eggs, breaking the yolks as well
  2. When the eggs begin to solidify and whiten, sprinkle a small amount of seasoned salt onto the egg (be careful, it can overpower the egg and make it super salty).
  3. Grab a handful or so of arugula leaves and put it on top of the egg; press the leaves down onto the egg with a spatula.
  4. With the spatula, fold the egg in half so the arugula is on the inside of it. Flip several times.
  5. Place a tortilla on a plate and sprinkle grated cheese throughout its surface; place egg on half of the tortilla, and fold it quickly so the entire egg is inside of the tortilla. Press down on both sides so the cheese can melt and hold the tortilla shut.
  6. CONSUME THE EGG
That's it for now; I may add more recipes later if they come to mind. Feel free to post your own healthy recipes below!

Friends! I also come with recipes. And to you 'muricans. I am sorry for not using freedom measurements.

    Comforting tuna pasta
Serves 4 (or 2 hungry hungry hippos)
    • 400 grams (or about 2 cans) of tuna in brine
    • 3 deciliters of creme fraîche
    • 1 cup of frozen green peas
    • Dark mushroom soy sauce (to taste, sauce should end up with a light golden brown color)
    • A sprinkle of cinnamon powder
    • A sprinkle of grated nutmeg
    • A sprinkle of cayenne pepper powder
    • A slightly heftier sprinkle of cracked black pepper
    Instructions

    1. Chuck all ingredients (gently and with love please) into pan/sauteuse/dutch oven or similar
    2. Put on stove and put to a boil, when boiling you can turn down the heat a little. Or don't. I'm not your mom
    3. Let reduce until dish looks like yummy mush sauce
    4. Serve with any kind of pasta you might fancy
    5. Why are you still reading? Go! Eat!

There will be more recipes in the near future. <3
