In an unexpected turn of events, the Riverwood Government has surrendered to opposing forces; Antheus' location unknown
Shocking the already unstable population of Riverwood, the House and Senate came to an unanimous decision late Monday night to surrender. "I feel that it is the best decision, given the current financial situation of Riverwood and the strength of the opposing forces," house member Phobi said. "If we did not surrender, Riverwood would collapse and become a third-world city."

The president of Riverwood, Antheus, has been missing since Saturday. Top officials say he will return in two weeks to deal with the aftermath of surrendering. In the mean time, Minister of Foreign Relations Gustavobc will be in charge of Riverwood until the president returns.

House and Senate lift embargo off of Fulfwotz, claim "was a stupid move"
Following the announcement of surrendering, the House and Senate successfully passed a vote to remove the trade embargo against the nation of Fulfwotz. As of July 5th, all products from Fulfwotz were banned in Riverwood and could be confiscated if seen in public. With the embargo lifted, Riverwood hopes to improve relations with Fulfwotz.
