Hey, I'm Dusty_Mars, 18 years old and from Israel. Saw pictures of The Shire on Reddit and they blew me away. Exploring the server in person later that day was even more impressive - the level of detail, thought and effort put into every build is just amazing.
I'd like to join the Shire because it inspired me to get back into Minecraft. Ever since I started playing (on and off for the past two years or so), cooperative building has been my absolute favorite part of the game. If I become a member, I'd like to build together with other people, add on to their builds (with their permission) and perhaps branch out and create something cool of my own.
In the past, I have built a community center on a survival server where people could donate materials and trade for things they needed, a UN building (as commemoration of a political dispute between me and another player), farms, secret spy hideouts, a hidden passageway network, and plenty of houses. I hope my skill level is up to your standard, and I hope it will improve with inspiration from all the amazing creations on your server.

You can now build in /warp tyrule where you'll find everything you need to show us your style and skill level and hopefully join us in the main world.


Important information about getting started:
- All your materials will be under the Tyrule spawn. To get to the materials area, follow the "yellow brick road." Just right click the "free" signs.

- All tools and enchantments can be found in one of the spawn corners. Signs will lead you there. Just right click the signs for the tools and then with the tool equipped, right click the enchantment signs

- You can be assigned a plot by doing /plot auto and then /plot home to get to it

- Your tyrule build does not have to be huge or elaborate. Just something that gives us an idea of your style and skill level


Please feel free to ask us any questions either here or in game. We're happy to help. And if you need assistance from a staff member, we're the folks with either blue or gold titles.

If you haven't logged onto the server yet, you'll have to ask a staff member for your Tyrule ranking when you log on for the first time. If you've already logged onto the server, your Tyrule ranking should appear shortly.

Just a quick question - how do Yeomans, or anyone else below Artisan rank, build? I understood from the wiki that only Artisans and up have creative mode. If so, are the lower ranks supposed to mine and collect all the materials used in their build, or is there another way to get the items?
