Unable to access the server (and other things)... :(

Hello there. Ever since I got build permissions, I've been hard at work on a city directly east of the Shire United Nations. No name yet, but hopefully it will get one soon!

Now, onto the serious stuff. For the last few days, I haven't been able to access The Shire due to being "an outdated server". I had no idea what was happening until I saw something: I think The Shire only supports users up to version 1.16.1, while the most recent update is 1.16.2. Sadly, I currently use 1.16.2, so I can't access the world right now.

Hopefully I can get back to The Shire soon, as I have my city to get back to and I also want to finalize my plans for potential proposals I have regarding the infrastructure of the world... more on that later.

Last but not least, I joined the Discord server today! My username is "Boris Crafts#8733", and if you do not know my ranking on the Minecraft server, I am currently a yeoman.

Hi Boris!

You are right, we're on 1.16.1.

You can join any server with older server versions easily. Just go to Installations at the top of the client before logging on, then "New..." (also up top), click that and choose version from where it says Latest release to 1.16.1. then just click Create and afterwards you can pick that version down in the bottom left before clicking the green Play button.
