Hey! My name is George and my Minecraft username is CuriousGeorge. I'm 18 and I've been playing Minecraft for about 4 years now. Outside of gaming I really love to play the piano, read, run, hit the gym, and listen to music. I always seem to have a pair of earbuds in hahaha. I'm from the U.S. and I saw this server on reddit and it really looked like the place for me. I love, love, love to build and some of the projects in The Shire look absolutely fantastic! All in all I would love to contribute to the community and help out in any way that I can. this place looks rad and I'd love to add to that.

Welcome to The Shire!

You've been promoted to our 'entry-level' rank. Everyone started at this rank, even our staff.

To start building, head over to /warp Tyrule and use the /plot auto command to get your own plot. If you require building materials, these are available under the spawn at /warp Tyrule.

All it takes to rank up from Tyro is a decent build - a house, a barn, a nunnery, a cave troll's den... Remember that there is no Pixel Art allowed, and we prefer no airplanes or helicopters.

Check out http://play.shirecraft.us/6635 for a map of the world.  The map is currently 7000x7000 and is something like 3.5Gb; it's over three years old.
