BREAKING NEWS: Fulfwotz Reeling After Communist Revolutionaries Overthrow Government

FULFWOTZ- Mayhem ensues in the major city of Fulfwotz after a communist revolution shook the city from the foundation. Late last night, an organization called NICA (New Imperial Communist Administration) organized a party of over 6,500 individuals and stormed several important areas around the city. These include the IIA (Imperial Intelligence Agency) Headquarters, the FIG (Fulfwotz Imperial Guard) Headquarters, the Fulfwotz Port, Grand Fulfwotz Terminal, and most importantly, Castle Mugg itself. After taking hold of these vital locations, they executed over 1,450 government employees, IIA agents, and members of nobility. An even larger amount of FIGs were executed afterwards. Hundreds of famous celebrities and nobles have fled the city and have defected to other major cities. There is no word of the Emperor's whereabouts, but it can be assumed he was safely evacuated to a confidential location.

As for now, correspondents inside the city at the time of the revolution claim that the city has been turned into a completely communist state, with public executions of upper-class citizens occurring on nearly an hourly basis. A curfew has been set at 8:00 pm, and shopping, a favorite Fulfwotzian pastime, has been outlawed. Food is being rationed, even though there is absolutely no need for such action, seeing as the Empire receives a daily surplus of food and goods from its outlying territories. The new leader of the Empire is a radical Human named Cedon Wexfield, a Floffwym native, which is only natural due to Floffwymites' extreme work ethic and the belief that work is more important than selfish desires. Many Sammichian residents are outraged at the fact that a Human is leading their Empire (though it shouldn't be forgotten that Fulfwotz was not originally founded by Sammichians, but by the extinct Lilladonians). Conditions in the city are reminiscent of those during the White Plague a few decades ago.

Even though the revolution happened only last night, it has already impacted the rest of the Shire immensely. Because of NICA's new policy on isolationism, trade has been cut off completely with other nations, and the liquidation of certain industries such as Follywood has figuratively bodyslammed the SSE (Shire Stock Exchange), and many government employees working in outlying territories have been rendered unemployed. Fearing NICA attempts to convert or attack other nations, the SUN held a summit at their Mainland Headquarters, and have motioned to increase military defense of their nations and have restricted travel to Empire holdings, such as Greenvale and Summerstone. There is virtually no communication between the city of Fulfwotz and the outside world, and the SGN correspondents trapped inside the city are proving unresponsive. What does this mean for the future of Fulfwotz? And more importantly, what does this mean for the future of the Shire?
