In the beginning when The Eye of Nebbron created the the Shire,

the Shire was a formless void and darkness covered the face of the deep, while a wind from Nebbron swept over the face of the waters.

Then Nebbron said, "Let there be light"; and there was light.

And Nebbron saw that the light was good; and Nebbron separated the light from the darkness.

Nebbron called the light Day, and the darkness He called Night.
