Plans to create The Rock Island, a sculpture by a Japanese artist

The Rock Island was made by Takanori Aiba, a Japanese maze designer turned architect. He's made many different sculptures in this style. I liked the steampunk feel and wanted to recreate it in Minecraft. I have a location at -3150, 6700 outlined in glowstone (there is a random obsidian ball next to it, I was told it could get removed. The one problem is the sort of complicated terraforming. If anyone wants to help with that, or help on the building itself, let me know. Thanks! Currently, the site is blank, but I would be happy to build outlines or Paint diagrams or do it by hand. Additional images:
